About Linda J. Shaw

Beans on Road
(or me in my happy place)

“It is Linda’s Passion to see the look in peoples faces when their eyes suddenly tell her their heart and soul have connected. “

Born and raised on the west coast of BC , she is a Fraser River girl through and through. She understands and is a part of the west coast culture and activities as can be seen in the above picture.

For 35 years since Linda’s own introduction to her higher self through recovery from addiction, her passion and excitement has been to find ways to bring the world into a happier place, one person at a time.

Linda’s formal education is local as well. From Douglas, Kwantlen, VCC to SFU she has looked toward new competencies to support her clients over the years. Currently she is attending the Prometheum Institute to further her studies in human mental health and addiction.

Starting in 1985 as a support worker at Westminster House she has moved through the years in a men’s residence on the downtown east side, to contract work as A&D counsellor in the women’s penal system, many years with Elizabeth Fry Society, and Charlford House for the last 20 years. She is now in her own private practice assisting people from all walks of life deal with life issues resulting from drugs use past and present.
